"To travel without arriving would be as incomplete as to arrive without having traveled"-wanderlust

This trip has been about a journey, a journey to discovery not only the city of Paris, but to discover oneself. No journey is complete without its difficulties, nor is it complete until you have arrived at some answer, some solution, or some realization. To me this embodies what this class is about, finding answers to our own questions. Finding ways to be able to communicate our experience, our journey, so that other may find reality within what we create. I found that particularly interesting when we came across that idea in lecture this morning. Can we create a world in which we are the center? Can we make others understand how we are affected by the world.

Also today I found it really interesting how art can be combined with other ideas.
For example: Art and Science through mapping. Art and religion at the Notre Dame.
Art and Science is essentially creating something out of chaos. Bringing order, whether it is through grids, or digital systems to organize artistic thought in a manner that is easily accessible to others. Similarly Religion is readily accessible to others through Art. It combines religious materials and ideas so that the public can start to understand.
