in the details or afterthoughts?

One of the things I liked most about the trip to the Bibliotheque Nationale was seeing the tiny details of the maps, especially parts which might of been considered accidents at the time. A splatter of the brush on a hand painted map or forgetting to put acres of land on a map and having them overlap the edge might of gotten someone fired or had them loose thier next commision but now we look at them and say ooooo and ahhhhh and "neat". I think Jackson Pollock is to thank for this new appreciation of "happy" accidents.

My camera's batteries are dead, so unfortunatly no new pictures for today but heres some found drawings I took yesterday in Montmarte.
