What are we afraid of? What is there to be afraid of? Why are we afraid? Why is it that we only face our fears when we are forced? It doesn’t matter the reason for your fears, how you got there or why you are pushed to face it, but rather how you choose to tackle it. And at that point you learn that not only are you able to survive but yoi leave a more complete person.
We take for granted our ability to see, and we fear that without sight, we may not be able to function. I think with the experience today we all were able to understand how our body has a natural tendency to fight for survival no matter what. Without sight, we adapted with heightened awareness to touch and sound. Our body was able to compensate for the lost of sense we were experiencing. Our surroundings forced us to be in this position. The body accepted it and coped. To my surprised every movement what so automated and natural and it was incredibly easy to eat an entire meal without any form of sight.
This experience it like facing your fears. You are unaware of your capabilities until you are put into at position to where you must cope, you must function, your body does that for you without question.
