hopefully i will do this everyday, and it will be a kind of daily recording/ mapping of where i have been throught the day. the map is the front of the page with the paths of walking- red, bus- green, and metro- purple, and the back is just the lines that they make on the flip side. the interst for me is that the control of the line doesn't come from my choice when i am actually making the lines, it comes during the day, while i am walking, busing, or metroing. i am pretty much mindless when actually creating as far as the aesthetic line, i am emersed in the path that i took and my memory of what i saw, where, i was etc. it also helps me become more in touch with the whole city, and make connections that can seems so distant from eachother- spacialy and otherwise.
