While eating lunch Saturday, and walking with my 'pain du chocolate', I noticed no one walks and eats/drinks at the same time. Maybe they are more laid back, better with time management, have no where to go on the weekends, or Americans just live at a faster (though not necessarily better) pace. Also while walking down the smaller side streets, I see that no matter what the theme of the particular video store, they are all somewhat creepy with gaudy neon signs and curtains instead of doors.
There are nothing but stairs and various anti-luggage components in the Metro, and the doors have no problem closing on you.
Police in glass boxes are very kind but not always knowledgeable.
There are no squirrels in Paris.
